The winter season AND ECCO Trackman Lounge

Dear Apeldörer, dear guests,

As a very eventful season draws to a close, it comes as no surprise that we are looking at court openings and playing opportunities in the coming weeks and months.

The endless work of our greenkeeper team on additional drainage, trenches, new water hazards and much more had a noticeably positive effect over the course of the season. Even after heavy rainfall, our course was still easy to play on and closures for e-carts were the exception. In the last few days, more than 45 liters of rain per square meter have fallen. The ditches and catch basins are full and even the most extensive drainage systems are unable to drain the water away. E-carts can therefore no longer be used for the time being. Take a look at the start times module or use our APELDÖR-APP to find out about further developments.

We want to keep our 27 golf courses open for you for as long as possible. However, this also requires your understanding and cooperation. A few small changes will help us all to get off to a good start to the winter season. These include, for example, removing unnecessary ballast from the golf bag or switching to the carry bag. Teeing off on the fairways is encouraged and the grass tees on the driving range are now closed. This also applies to teeing off with a driver or wood - because the greatest damage is caused by the feet.

In order to protect the course, all lanes are only open from 09:00.

This can be seen in the start time calendar. In the event of frost or frozen
greens, this closure can be extended. For the winter, we want to revert to the tried and tested 10-hole rule.

Green square: lanes 1,2,3,8 and 9
Red course: lanes 1,2 and 9
Yellow course: lanes 1 and 9

This means that all three courses can be played on and allow a short walk to the clubhouse where apple punch and other treats await you.

My court is closed and I can't play? - Then simply use the new ECCO Trackman Lounge .
