Sustainability at Gut Apeldör

On our 112 hectare site you can experience nature up close. Gut Apeldör is its own "small" biotope and is home to hundreds of herbs, plants and animals. There is something to discover in every season, such as our busy bee colonies in summer and the wild animals in winter. That is why it is particularly important to us to protect this flora and fauna so that future generations can also experience Apeldör as you know it!

What you can do

Use our Apeldör drinking bottles and avoid PET bottles (available in our ProShop)
Dispose of your garbage in the designated garbage cans
Use our RECUP cups for your hot drinks instead of paper cups

Since the beginning of 2021 we are proud to call ourselves a national park partner !
We let “nature be nature”. That is our common goal: to protect living things and plants in order to safeguard biological diversity.

We have been working with Plant my tree for more than two years. For every green fee sold, we donate €1 to the foundation, which plants trees in a nearby forest near Itzehoe.

We are also a proud partner of VR Bank Westküste .
