2026 Ryder Cup

Dear Apeldör family,

The Ryder Cup against our friends from the Red Golf Quickborn Golf Club took place for the second time this year—and it was held during Masters weekend!

On a stormy first day of competition, the doubles matches were played: four-ball best ball in the first round and foursomes in the second round. The tough conditions definitely affected the play and made for a lot of excitement.

The score after Day 1… 6–4 in favor of Apeldör.

With all the excitement building, everyone set out for a glorious Sunday morning that was destined to deliver a Ryder Cup final. Ten singles matches, great weather, and outstanding conditions ultimately led to a final score of 13 to 7 for Team Apeldör!

The trophy will therefore remain in Apeldör, and we’d like to thank our friends from Quickborn for this fantastic tournament. We look forward to welcoming you back next year!
