Easter 2025

In my next life, I'm going to be a meteorologist. What was forecast to be a dry, sunny Easter a week earlier turned out to be a cold, wet holiday - unfortunately. Nevertheless, a big compliment to all members and guests who turned up at the booked start time despite the adverse weather conditions and made the best of the situation. The total of 215 guests at the two Easter brunches had fewer problems. They were truly spoiled and highly praised by our catering team.

Golf - a family-friendly sport

To round off the Easter celebrations, a "small" 9-hole Easter foursome was on the calendar. With 48 participants, it was quickly fully booked, especially as a Texas scramble is always a relaxed team game and is ideal for couples and families. It was a very special day for two families, especially as it was a first for the new children aged between 10 and 16. They had just received their license to play the day before and then it was time to get started. Exciting, thrilling and successful - and how! Both family teams won 1st and 2nd net. A perfect start to our golf sport. Everyone received the obligatory Easter bunny as a tee gift and a "fake bunny" as a tournament meal at the end, which tasted at least as good as the chocolate version. It was nice and on top of that it was a dry round with two or three rays of sunshine.
