We hosted our first Ryder Cup between Gut Apeldör and Red Golf at Apeldör on April 12 and 13. An event full of fun, excitement and great matches!

Two rounds of foursomes were played on Saturday. The first round was a fourball selection drive and the second was a fourball bestball. After a strong performance by our guests from Red Golf, we were unfortunately one point behind after the first day.

The final individual matches were played on Sunday. With a starting position where we are one point behind, the motivation to win increases and that's how we played! In the end, Apeldör won the singles with 4 points more.

The outstanding performance in the individual matches led to the overall victory in the Ryder Cup. Apeldör wins with 11.5 to 8.5 points! So the trophy stays with us in Apeldör for the time being.

A great weekend with great golf performances and a lot of fun certainly needs to be repeated next year! A big thank you to our guests from RedGolf and Frank Möller for the professional organization.
