Season-Opening Tournament + Summer Match Play

Dear Apeldör family,

The season has officially kicked off. All courses are open, the estate is open, and the season-opening tournament has been played!

On March 22, 2026, 120 players teed off to compete in a 9-hole Texas Scramble in teams of four under perfect weather conditions. The Red and Yellow courses were played, both of which were in excellent condition thanks to the commendable work of the greens staff. Plenty of sunshine at 15 degrees and a fantastic course in March made the tournament a resounding success—we want to build on that!

Summer Match Play

One season – one match play format!

Our summer match play series begins in April and is open to 64 participants. During the group stage, each player is guaranteed at least three match play matches. The tournament then continues with a single-elimination bracket. Each match is played with a 3/4 handicap and concludes with the winner treating the loser to a drink.
